The Gospel — God’s Good News!

God created us to know Him and live in a loving relationship with Him.

“So God created man in His own image.” — Genesis 1:27

But all of us have sinned — we have disobeyed God and gone our own way.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

Our sin separates us from God, and the penalty for sin is death.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

Because God loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day.

“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day.” — 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

Through faith in Jesus, we can be forgiven and made right with God.

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

When we turn from our sin and trust in Christ, we receive new life and the promise of eternity with Him.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
